At work - - I am inspired by the 2 very busy women I assist, their workload is impressive yet they handle it with grace and a "can do" attitude. At home - - My children have always inspired me to be a better mom, especially since I was a single mom for the past 14 years. Now that they are grown and out on their own they inspire me to realize each and every day that I a foremost a women, person and an individual who has gone thru many transitions in my life and to enjoy life and thrive thru each of these. While at work, I work hard then when I go home I see good for my hard work and know that my life is good.

Women at work who are wives, mothers, and employees inspire me. I admire those who can balance all 3 and strive for excellence in them all......I have several mentors at my workplace that fit that description and of course my MOM>>>>>>>>>

My greatest inspiration has always been my Dad. He grew up in the depression, worked hard on his family farm every day and despite only a high school education he became a success. He never made what some of these reality stars make in a year but he did well through hard, honest work. He never spoke bad about a person and always forgave if someone cheated him on a deal. He is truly the best man I have ever known. Now at 93, he strugges with Parkinson's as it robs his mobility. I try to learn from him and I hope my son inherits the best of my Dad.

Early in my career I worked in the HR department of a newspaper. We had three unions and, at times, the environment was very negative. Our HR Director took the brunt of a lot of attacks and accusations about our company's policies and procedures. Yet, she was one of the most peaceful and tranquil leaders I ever met. The criticisms seemed to roll off of her back and she worked collaboratively and fairly with all parties involved. Her grace under pressure inspired me to always be the "calm in the storm." I strive be an example of poise and grace at work, even in stressful times. I believe this, in part, has earned me the respect of my peers and leaders in my company.

What inspires me is to be surrounded by people of excellence and those who lead by example. I am inspired when Leaders work as a team player with those in which they lead and take on the role of a Servant Leader. I am inspired by not asking others to do what I wouldn't do myself. I am inspired when others grow under my leadership. I am inspired when there are tangible results of the work in which I have produced. i am inspired to inspire!

Who or what inspires you? A questions that causes one to think about people on a positive level, however when I looked at this question I thought about everyone I know. The ones who caused me pain, inspired me to press on inspite of the hurt, frustation or despair. Allowing the seed of love to be planted. The ones who cause a smile to be planted on my face, inspired me to water the seed of love and press on. My answer would have to be every person God has allow to cause me to grow spiritually and naturally. Every teacher, student, women, girl, men, and boy has inspired me to excel to do my best. To life a live of love.

Making a difference inspires me. I believe that I am placed on this earth for a specific purpose; and in that purpose I am to make a positive impact to those that I come in contact with. And it is that positive impact (the difference) that inspires me because then I know I have acheived my ultimate purpose which is to help, inspire, and motivate other in meeting and having a greater leader, a greater way, and a greater life.

My mother inspires me. She was 44 when she had me, the last of seven. There were four of us still at home when our father passed away when I was five. How she fed us, clothed us, supported us, had a house over our heads and everything else still amazes me. She put us all through Catholic schools, two of us in Catholic colleges. She is 92 now and still in good health. We learned alot from her!

Music!! I love all kinds of music. When I'm driving; cleaning at home; getting ready for a date; dinner parties. Every morning when I get up for work the first thing I do is put on some music in my bedroom. And I love to sing.
