Program Description:

Environment Matters. And Your Work Environment Is What You Make It!

Time and again, you’ve seen it. Two departments in an organization face the same types of challenges: high pressure, lots of change and big demands to produce. One department steps up to the plate with energy and enthusiasm … one need only walk through the office to get the sense that to these folks anything is possible.

But, when you walk through the other department, you “feel” an entirely different type of energy. Tension is high. People don’t seem to get along with one another, and you sense that no one wants to be there.

So, what’s the difference between the two areas with the similar challenges? One group of employees has learned that their work environment is what they make it … and they chose to make it great!

So How Do You Create and Sustain an Energized, Engaged, Effective Work Environment? Attend This Training!

Secrets to Creating & Sustaining An Energized, Engaged, Effective Workplace is an all-new training program that draws from the collective wisdom of organizations and leading professionals who’ve mastered the secrets to creating great places to work.

It’s an empowering day of sharing and learning where you’ll draw lessons from the real world on how to energize your work environment.

You’ll learn to identify the sources that spawn negativity and drain energy and how to combat them. You’ll discover how simple changes in the way work gets done will have an incredible impact on the way you and others become more engaged, more focused and downright happier with the work you’re doing. And you’ll learn how to inject more fun “into” work (without risking others substituting fun “instead” of work!).

You Can’t Always Love What You Do … But There Are Ways to Make Even Your Toughest Days Less Tough

One of the most absurd myths out there today is that the secret to on-the-job happiness is to “find something you’re passionate about and then you’ll always be happy.”

Few of us are in jobs where there’s round-the-clock excitement and enjoyment. Most work worlds come with their fair share of uphill climbs, mind-numbing routine, and chaotic changes.

The secret to creating an overall positive work experience for you and those around you rests in the culture you build along the way. When you attend this training, you’ll learn what it takes to move from merely “doing” tasks to true “engagement” … why being attentive and helpful to others every day will make every day more pleasant for you … why a little levity in the workplace eases tension, reduces burnout and makes the atmosphere more enjoyable for everyone.

Discover How to Handle “Big 4” – Workplace Realities That Require TLC

A key part of building a positive environment is handling potential negativity triggers effectively. In this workshop, you’ll explore the many situations and scenarios that could threaten the effectiveness and energy of your work climate.

These aren’t rare or obscure threats you can avoid, in fact, chances are you WILL face each of these and so you MUST be prepared to handle them, especially the “Big 4”: high-stress situations, high- pressure workloads, rampant change and a high degree of routine.

If you’re struggling with any of these – this workshop offers specific advice for making sure they don’t drag you down!

A Chance to Take an Objective Look at Your Work World

Chances are, you’ve already identified many of the issues causing the energy drain in your organization or department. But, if you’re like many, you may simply not know what to do in response to the issues that plague you.

That’s why it’s so important that you attend this workshop … because nothing will change unless you take action to change it. This workshop will empower you with innovative ideas that are right for the real-world problems you come up against every day.

Every Organization Can Benefit From a Shot in the Arm of Energy and Excitement

New ideas are the lifeblood of thriving organizations. This training is packed with innovative strategies for making your workplace a great place to work.

Plus, let’s face it, we’re all human and we need “energy lifts” from time to time. This workshop presents the perfect opportunity for you to relax, refresh and rejuvenate … while teaching you how to rejuvenate morale and productivity in your workplace. It doesn’t get any better than that!

Left Unchecked, Negative Attitudes and Low Morale Could Cripple
Your Organization!

Make no mistake: The value of this essential training cannot be overstated, because left unchecked, negative attitudes and low morale will have devastating impact on your personal effectiveness and your organization’s ultimate success.

You’ll Leave This Training Excited and Eager to Get Back to Work to Share What You’ve Learned!

Participants in this training have one thing in common: They are so pumped by the end of the training that they can’t wait to get back to work and share their newfound skills with others in the organization. You’ll find that this training sparks so many ideas that you’ll return to work fully assured that the sky’s the limit when it comes to all you can do to transform your work environment!

+ Workshop Agenda: (click + to expand)

Too many people confuse playing at work with playing instead of work! This workshop isn’t about how to get a better score on computer solitaire – it’s about rediscovering the joy of doing a job well and have fun doing it!

Don’t think it can be done? Well, these companies have been doing this for years and their healthy bottom lines are proof that a few yuks can mean some big bucks!

  • One of the nation’s most recognizable ice cream producers started the Joy Gang, an internal committee that distributes “Joy Grants” to departments that come up with creative ways to bring happiness to the workplace. The grants can be used for anything – from purchasing a hot chocolate machine to hiring a masseuse for tired workers. Productivity and job satisfaction have soared!
  • At one of the world’s largest insurance companies, one manager began treating his staff to afternoon matinee movies when deadlines became overwhelming. He later installed a white board where anyone could suggest alternative group outings, and the “social board” soon became packed with fun and energizing suggestions. Turnover has plummeted!
  • The sales manager of a large New York organization hired a Broadway theater director to train his sales team how to smile. Sales went up 15 percent within three months of the lesson.
  • The manager of an overworked and overstressed marketing department bought several miniature 3-inch plaster cows (at a cost of $1 apiece) and handed one out to everyone to decorate as they saw fit. The response was so overwhelming that soon the entire organization was participating, and a contest was held where everyone voted for his or her favorite cow. The decorated cows were to be auctioned off later for charity.
  • You can make mandatory training fun, too! A large Midwestern hospital livened up their federally mandated emergency disaster training by organizing a mock disaster scheduled for late October. Using a Halloween theme, the trainers created a Haunted House of Horrors, challenging employees to spot the “horrors” of unsafe situations. The Haunted House, complete with eerie music, attracted hundreds of enthusiastic employee participants who all gave it a 95% or higher success rating!

Finding ways to build a sense of community among your employees by thinking outside of the lines and using humor and fun will not only motivate them to higher productivity, better morale and unwavering loyalty – but will re-energize you, too. Learn what these other highly successful companies have known for years – and enroll in this fun and informational workshop today!
