When it comes to sorting through the mountains of information available about wellness programs, Ken Sigman is one expert that you want on your side.  Ken is the founder and CEO of Health and Benefit Systems, LLC, a national consulting and brokerage firm specializing in the design, communication, and administration of well-communicated employee benefit and retirement plans.

Ken also founded the CARI Institute, a cardiovascular rehab center which was one of the first free-standing centers of its kind in the Midwest.  It was here that Ken developed his first effective wellness programs, as his firm specialized in coordinating many hospital-based cardiac rehab programs and corporate wellness programs.  Ken was also the project coordinator for the “CPR Now” project in Kansas City, Missouri.  Working with the late founder and owner of the Kansas City Royals, Ewing Kaufmann, the “CPR Now” project trained over 100,000 people in the Kansas City area in CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) over a 24-month period.

A successful businessman, consultant, and insurance underwriter, Ken has seen first-hand the benefits of effective wellness programs. As CEO of Health and Benefit Systems, he continues to focus on using employee wellness to control the costs of medical and disability insurance for his clients.  His mission is dedicated to improving the health and financial security of his associates and clients.
